Most people are leaving the coast of Texas, but we just kissed our Daddy at the airport and sent him to a hurricane zone - he assures me he is trained for such a thing. He got the call this morning that he was on the list of the first to go, he left work at 10am, went to Wal-mart to pick up some essentials, came home, did some laundry, packed and then he was off.We pray for those who have been in the path of these recent storms and are suffering great hardships and we for those who are anticipating this storm to hit their communities!

Wow, tell him, for us, to be careful. He went after the one in New Orleans, right? I guess they just want the best.
Oh man, those goodbyes are so hard. We'll all be praying for a speedy return for him and for safety for all the people effected by this hurricane. *hugs*
P.S. He does look especially nice in his uniform, though! :P
