Matt's Birthday!!!

Who doesn't want to spend their birthday out on the Navajo Rez? That's what we thought, so we loaded the family up and headed on out there to celebrate in style!
We picked up our favorite locals on the way......Elder and Sister Walburger....that's their trailer right next the chapel and you can't see it from the picture but the parking lot has 14 spots :)
Dinosaur tracks! We walked among them according to our self-appointed guide (wish I got a picture of him), he would pour water on the footprints so we could see them better that's why the ground is all wet.

Grandma and Grandpa are having a fly infestation in their trailer, so we unleashed our little killers!

We attended a Heritage celebration out in Tuba City (Native Americans don't celebrate Pioneer Day, made me giggle, might be a day of sorrow instead) and enjoyed a fabulous potluck, Matt's absolute favorite hee,hee - being a Public Health Officer kind of wrecks those kinds of experiences - he knows too much! After that we toured Tuba City.......and checked out the Trading Post, then we headed back to Cameron to once again thrill our birthday boy with a delightful eating experience at the Cameron Trading Post. It was actually really good, but we all were a bit afraid of the water.....
It is such a blessing to have Grandpa and Grandma Walburger serving their mission just an hour away, we love being a part of their mission! Happy Birthday Matt!!!!

Kristin, seeing these pictures of your family brings tears to my eyes! The kids are all so beautiful (and so big!), and you and Matt look as amazing as ever. It makes me really nostalgic for our FSA days... I MISS YOU! :)

Love, Kristy
P.S. Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday, Matt!
